Interested in heading out of town this summer on your bike? Want to go to Oxbow and hang out for a few nights with all the luxuries–or tour down the coast with a different stop every night? Commute downtown every day, but unsure you know what to do to get out out of the city by bike?
At this women-only workshop, we will talk about the different kinds of bike travelling you can do, and discuss the basics: gear, planning, fitness, safety, and dealing with emergencies.
We have diverse styles and hope to answer questions for every type of biker! We will present some general information but gear it towards the individual experiences and questions of the participants who show up.
The workshop will take place in the side yard of the Hawthorne Hostel (we don’t want to be inside this time of year, either).
