If you caught my interview on KIIC FM, welcome to Cycle Wild’s website!  While we are an Oregon-based nonprofit, there’s some info here that still applies if you’d like to camp by bicycle!  Take a look at our primer on bike camping.  For local camping destinations in and around Monroe County, check out the Iowa DNR website’s state parks info – RedHaw, Elk Rock, Lake Keomah, Honey Creek and Sharon Bluffs are all within a day’s ride of Albia.  Iowa even has a bicycle map to help you plan the best route to get there.  Good luck, and bike safe!
