Please join us for our 4th year of camping in the cabins at Stub Stewart State Park!
When: Saturday, December 31st until Monday, January 2nd. (departing 10am from Hillsboro on Sat the 31st)
Where: Stub Stewart State Park (roughly 20 miles NW of Hillsboro)
Who: 20 intrepid bike campers
What: camping in the cabins, board and card games, a mystery movie, and MORE!
How Far: 23.5 miles (about 1,000′ of climbing, almost all in the last 3 miles)
How Much: $20 per person (payment in advance required to secure your spot, scroll to the bottom of this email)
DEPARTURE: 10am Saturday, Dec 31st from Hillsboro Starbucks (102 East Main Street, Hillsboro, OR)

Yes, we’re going camping on New Year’s Eve! Join us for an extended
weekend of fun at Stub Stewart on New Year’s weekend.
Wait a minute, you say – isn’t it COLD and WET during New Year’s? Why
do I want to go camping?
- Only 23 miles of riding.
- 19 other fun people to hang out with
- Lighted, heated cabins
- Board games, card games, and movies (yes, seriously – movies!)
Yes, that’s right: CABINS! We’re cabin camping at Stub Stewart. Forget
the tent, forget the camp pad – bring a pillow and some blankets.
We’ll be leaving from Starbucks (near the Hatfield Government Center MAX stop) in
Hillsboro on Friday, New Year’s Eve at 10am. Cost for the
cabins is $20 per person total for 2 nights. You are responsible for
buying / preparing your own food – we’ll be stopping at the Banks
Thriftway for those who don’t want to carry food the whole way (Banks
is the halfway point).
RSVP is REQUIRED for this trip. Please don’t say “I’m Going” unless
you know you will be attending – thanks!

PAYMENT: Advance payment to the ride leader is required to secure your spot on this trip. (the ride leader footed part of the bill in previous years due to last-minute cancellations) You are not paying Cycle Wild for this trip. Cabins have been reserved by trip participants who are being reimbursed from the ride leader. The cost per person is $20.
CANCELLATION: By choosing to do this trip, you are committing to pay $20, refundable only if you find a replacement camper to take your spot.
PAYMENT METHOD: Check the Cycle Wild website to ensure there are spots still available. You can secure your spot in either of the following ways
